Can I use kegg if I have endometriosis?Updated 22 days ago
Many women with endometriosis have successfully used kegg to better understand their fertile window to successfully conceive! Endometriosis affects everyone differently, depending on the severity and location of the lesions, it may or may not interfere with ovulation and cervical fluid patterns. Since kegg is designed to detect shifts in cervical fluid to help identify your most fertile days, it's important that the user is ovulating and has menstrual cycles, even if they’re irregular. Without ovulation, kegg may not provide useful fertility insights.
If you have pain with vaginal insertion, such as during intercourse or when using tampons or menstrual cups, we do not recommend using kegg, as it is a vaginal device that requires insertion. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities, and kegg should not be used if it causes discomfort or exacerbates existing pain.
It's also important to note that kegg has not been clinically tested specifically in women with endometriosis. While many have found it helpful in supporting their fertility awareness, individual responses may vary. For this reason, we encourage you to consult with your doctor to determine whether kegg is a good fit for your personal needs and reproductive health goals. A medical professional familiar with your case can help you weigh the benefits and decide if kegg is an appropriate tool for you.
