What is the ovulation probability?Updated 22 days ago

The ovulation probability is an estimate of when ovulation may occur based on your trends. Your predicted ovulation probability is displayed in advance as blue bars on your cycle view to give you advanced notice of your most likely ovulation days. Ovulation probability is based on your past data, such as your impedance trends, period logs, and biological factors entered during account set-up. Because ovulation can vary slightly from cycle to cycle, you’ll see several bars instead of just one, as the bars are predictive in nature. Your body’s most fertile days are actually the few days leading up to ovulation, not just the day you ovulate. This is because sperm can survive in your reproductive tract for up to five days, so having intercourse before ovulation increases the chances of sperm meeting the egg when it’s released.

The impedance trend reflects your real time changes in your cervical mucus. Ovulation typically occurs on the lowest point in your 'fertile valley', the dip formed in your impedance trend during your fertile window.
