Can I use kegg while breastfeeding?Updated 8 months ago
We recommend waiting at least two cycles (and a minimum of six weeks postpartum) before using kegg if you are not producing milk, or at least two cycles after discontinuing breastfeeding if you are still nursing. During lactation, hormone levels and fluid balance can fluctuate, particularly due to the hormone prolactin, which plays a key role in hydration and may affect cervical mucus patterns.
Many women choose to use kegg once their cycles return, even if they continue breastfeeding. However, it’s important to note that we cannot predict how your readings will appear during this time. For many, normal trends are observed, especially if it's been at least one year since childbirth.
As always, listen to your body and consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice based on your specific situation.
