How do I read my kegg chart, scores, and fertile window?Updated 2 hours ago
The kegg app turns your readings into insights that help you identify the best days to try to conceive.
How to read your chart
Before you take a reading, your chart displays estimated fertile days with dashed lines through the bars. After you take a reading, that day's bar fills in and shows your fertility score.
A higher score means that day may be more fertile and may offer a better chance of conception. A lower score means that day may be less fertile. The score estimates fertility for that day only. It does not measure your overall fertility.
What the scores mean
The bars are the daily interpretation of your kegg reading converted into actionable insights. Time your trying to conceive efforts when your Fertility Scores are the highest. As your cycle progresses, the bars will adjust because the fertile window becomes more precise as kegg learns from your readings and your cycle. Stress, poor sleep, illness, travel, and other changes can also affect when you ovulate.
Lower scores can be normal, especially if your cycles vary in length, you don't take readings daily, or you're using kegg for the first time.
When to try to conceive
The ovulation window estimates when ovulation is most likely. It does not pinpoint the exact day or confirm that ovulation occurred.
Your best days to try to conceive are generally the days leading up to ovulation. The chance of pregnancy is lower on ovulation day itself, so higher scores typically appear beforehand. Aim to time intimacy when your bars are highest, especially during the days leading up to the estimated ovulation window.
