I see a Fertility and Cervical Mucus Score of less than 5 each day and no fertile window predictions. Why is that?Updated 7 hours ago

The new kegg app is normed against women with ovulatory cycles. Our research shows that women with ovulatory cycles typically have cycles between 15-45 days in length.  As a result, the fertile window will not be present if cycles are outside of this range. Not to worry though- all kegg users receive the same real-time cervical mucus insights to optimally time their efforts.

The impedance trend line reflects your real-time cervical mucus insights. Aim to time your efforts during your 'fertile valley', the dip in your impedance trend seen during your fertile window. When you begin to see your readings descending downwards about 3 weeks before your next cycle start, assume you have entered a fertile window. The downward trend in your impedance suggests your cervical mucus is becoming increasingly more fertile. If your cycles are highly variable, you'll want to watch for valleys forming during a wider range of cycle days.

If your cycles are greater than 45 days or shorter than 15 days consistently, we recommend consulting a healthcare provider, as ovulatory cycles are less likely when cycles are outside of this range. If you would like assistance understanding your impedance trend, we are here to help!
